New personal heights!

Hello from the other side!

I must have called a thousand times...and I finally came! Another two months have passed as fast as a flying eagle! School has begun and life has gone busy, plus trainings, plus driving school...I have so much to do! In the other hand tho, I have many updates to tell you about! Ready? Set. Go!

My Arabians broke the 5000GP border! I already have 5 foals with 5000+GP! They are Amulet, Amazon, Nevada, Artaria, and, born today, Avada. It's a delight to see how long way my Arabians have come! If I remember right, I begun with Blackbird, whose GP is 1334 and it took me 3 years to get here! Well, it's a long time, but I've had many months off the game too, ya know. Anyways, I am already working towards 6000, which should be a good Grand Prix horse's GP ;)

Also, I've managed to complete my Arabian coats collection! I won't stop breeding them tho! I've come so far and I have already spent so much resources on them, I don't wanna stop here :)

After several years, at long last, Wandering horses event returned in September and of course I was eager to take part. I managed to have 8 of them to visit me. They all had very high skills, over 10 000GP. However, not all of them gave me tons of wins. The best one I had was Red Admiral, because she won me my first ever rosette! I was so delighted to see that a horse that I bred won a rosette! Here are some picture proofs, I am not bluffing :P

Thanks to Red Admiral I currently have two rosette trophies too, but unfortunately, they won't last long, unless I win another rosette.

Also, I bred my first 6000+GP horse! Capricorn gave me Cadillac, a future star! I do hope she'll serve me well!

That's all for this time! I hope I'll come back here soon :P

See you!

My finest horses!

Hello!

I can already smell the spring in the air here and I am eagerly waiting for summer...as we all do I hope! But let's get to the point...

The Championship. They brought it back. I shrugged out loud when I saw it. But actually, this time I am playing it. I like that they added many different mini games for getting bonuses and basically this keeps me going. I have done my choices visely and I have got much more 1st placings this time. I would give it a 5/10.

I extended my EC giveaway registration time! If you haven't already, go and register for your chance to win amazing prizes! You've got nothing to lose!

This time I decided to present you with *drum roll* BigHorseFreak's finest! Here, I will introduce you my best horses and their achievements! Here will be listed horses that I currently own, I don't count in horses who have passed. Hope you like it c:

 Best stud:

Greypicto7Abstract

He was my first Shagya Arabian foal. I still love his GA coat and when it went retired, I made him immortal. He has been offering coverings throughout his life. He has had 132 coverings and counting! None of the stallions I've had have ever met so many mares lol :P

Best broodmare:

Blackbird

I bought this near purebred Arabian mare from another breeder. She had already produced a bunch of foals and was trained when I got her. She still continues to be an amazing competitior. She produced great foals, but since the skills have gone higher I have no longer bred her, because she can't give foals with high skills anymore. She has had 29 coverings, but has more offsprings, because of some twins she has given birth to.

Best competitor:

Blackbird

This title also goes out for Blackbird, based on 1st placings. I have several other great competitors, but since this mare is immortal and still wins, she has the most winnings so far and counting :) She has won 168 times.

Best Grand Prix horse:

Fusion

I have just recently started concentrating on GP, but so far the best has been this purebred KWPN stallion, not bred by me. He goes best in trot races and his best placing in GP is 700-something. He still is in a fair age and I hope he has what it takes to climb higher.

So this is it for this time! See you soon!

Hunting throphies!

Another blog post! Well, I've had more spare time cause teachers have not been so crazy with homeworks or I am just not so lazy anymore :P Anyways, I have some great stuff to tell ya about...

The World Championship! The game's concept is quite good, but...there are always "buts". Read more about them below from the Yay or Nay ;) Fusion, Shockwave and Euphoria(the latter two are my TWHs btw) are the only ones who have brought home first places so far. Amarita's best is a second place. There is no way I am spending passes for this shit(pardon for that, but really, Howrse has gone pass crazy over time with the events) so please encourage my horses! I will encourage all I happen to spot at the Help a friend section. Thanks! :)

I decided to breed Blackbird in hopes of getting a throphy horse. I bred her to the best available purebred Arabian stallion and the outcome is a beautiful black filly Basimah. 943.65 are her inborn skills, 3105.13 GP and 255 stars. I really hope she will be a good competitor one day! I used a Hera's pack so her identical twin sister Baseema is up for sale in the direct sales! Go get her, it's possible she may bring in many throphies in the future!

When I logged in today, I had a message from doglover21704 stating I was her 200th congratulator and had won a horse with 3* tack! The horse is a liver chestnut TB stallion named Apollo, 2345.32 GP. Of course I am keeping him, I love presents :3 He is in color collections stable as my first TB coat. Big thanks to doglover21704! I really appreciate this!

Winter is currently in Horns of plenty and I had two HOPs to spend! And of course, no Divine, the best prize I got was a bonus for the Grand Prix. Not so bad tho!

In today's Yay or Nay...

The World Championship

Cons:
  • Competitions! They are always nerve wracking yet fun!
  • Possible to win lots of prizes and a Divine horse!
  • Preparation, that gives your horse bonuses, is really easy to acquire. Even if you fail, you can always try again.
  • You can receive extra bonus when asking your friends.
  •  You can help friends receive bonuses by encouraging their horses.
  • You can buy tickets to receive bonuses immedealtly.
  • The competitions won't affect your horses in any way: they won't gain skills and won't lose energy, health or morale.
 Pros:
  • You have to pay if you want to ask bonuses from friends.
  • Tickets have many benefits, but they cost passes.
  • The progress is slow: you have to spend passes to have a chance of getting the Divine.
  •  You can only enter six horses a day for the competitions for free.
The verdict:
The concept is quite interesting and will keep you entertained for a while, though the chance of getting the Divine and bigger prizes is really small. This is Yay.

That's all for this time! See you around!

Grand Prix prospect

Heya! It's been a while again and I have quite a bunch of stuff to tell you about!

I have made a decision: If I want to get better results, I shall breed better horses and better horses don't come from mares that have a BLUP below 0. So I decided, that I won't breed my mares if their BLUP is negative. I'll wait if it turns positive. I will try that and see if I get better foals outta my mares.

I got my Arabian coats trophy! Hooray!

Pinatas are back! Yay! I am already on my third pinata, how about you? And as always, click my pinata please! c: I will try and click everyone's pinatas I happen to spot at the friends section. Fell free to friend me for pinata clicks! :)

And the fourth one is the most exciting news! Well, at least for me. I have been entering Amarita and Blackbird in Grand Prix comps for several weeks and I am pleased with them: both have managed to stay at the top 1000 and 2000. But we can always go better, right? c: So I looked at some of the winners' stats and decided to buy myself a future champion! And I found just the right one from the sales: Fusion, a pretty cherry bay KWPN gelding, 5000+ GP and 400+ stars! He was just 8000 equus(honestly, I expected them to cost more!). This is my first 5000+ GP horse! So I put all my bonus packs, Poseidon's packs and other stuff on him, if you want the best, you have to give him the best! With just half an hour he was fully trained and straight away won his first competition. That's my champ! :D I trained him another few days and today I entered him to the GP! Thumbs up and let's hope he will make it to top 500! That's my first goal! Will keep you updated on Twitter! :)

That's all for today! See you at the pinata party! :)

Breeding farm updates

Good morning! Or good evening!

You are probably wondering how are my Haflingers, Shires and others. No? Well, I'll still inform you about it.

BLUPping is a slow thing. I am just basically training, training, training my Shires and Haflingers, checking the BLUP-o-meter or whatever it is and it goes. So. Slow. I think I just need patience :P I entered Sunshine in several comps but she came back with 2 bronze throphies and a bunch of 5th placings. So, not yet.

About Arabians: Seems like Blackbird's line is dying out. I have already begun selling mares whose at least 3 last offsprings I have been forced to sell because they are not good enough for me. These all happen to be from Balckbird's line. I haven't bred Blackbird herself anymore. Yes, her offsprings have very good inborn skills, but that is not enough for me. I need them also to have a high GP. But if you would like an Arabian foal from her, feel free to mail me. You may choose the stallion ;) Rest assured, I am not gonna sell her, cause she still brings home golden throphies from the competition tracks. Amarita's line, in the other hand, is doing really well. All her offsprings are mine and so are her offsprings' offsprings.

My Trakehners have suddeny soared to the 2000+ GP skies. Best ones have about 2200 GP right now. And that means I will be selling foals with a GP below it, which means get ready to buy these lovely folks c:

In today's Yay or Nay...

The Great Challenge: Legendary horses.

Cons:

  • Bonuses for the next festivities!
  • If you feel bored, you can read a story about a Legendary horse.
  • Missions are moderately easy. While doing your everyday stuff, you may automatically have completed them.
  • If you are stuck with a mission, you may ask help from the community.
  • You can help the community with missions and in turn you receive lottery tickets.

Pros:

  • Getting the Divine means spending passes(real money).
  •  You have to pay a fair amount of equus if you want somebody to help you complete a mission.
  • Only several missions have the help option.
  • In order to get all the bonuses, you have to be online everyday and complete all the missions.

The verdict:

This event is quite easy and a great way to spend time. Though you may not get the Divine(unless you are a pass millionaire), you have a big chance to get other great items. This is a Win.

That's it for this time! See you!
