Hello!
Long time, no see! My life has taken a 180° turn. I started university that is not in the town I live in. I am mostly now living in a bigger city, renting an apartment with a classmate and am now experiencing life without parents for the first time. Also, the studies have gone much more harder, forget about the whining I had back when I was in upper secondary, this shit is now real :D I even don't have time to go on Howrse so often. I visit it few times a week. But I can't get my mind onto quitting, this game is still great.
Stuff has happened over there too. For example, today I got expelled from Austrian Beauty team(former Österreichische Schönheit) due to inactivity. I totally understand that. My activity ceased to merely one blup a month and that is not enough at all. May-be it's even better that way, I have one less task to do. I hereby want to thank everyone who recruited me, helped me to learn blupping and the ways of teams. It was an invaluable experience. I am pretty sure I will one day find the time to join a team again.
I finished Etrian game a long time ago and got Wikaila. So far he has given me one stone and is halfway of giving me a second one. Useful divine, but getting the stone takes a lot of time, unfortunately.
Another not so pleasant news, at least for me. Wilderness chose to visit me again, but at that day I was busy, visiting a big horsey event and I didn't log on Howrse. I missed a chance to snatch up rosettes, but oh well, he is going to visit me again some day, I hope.
I got a Nokota from a recent event and started breeding them for coats. Skills don't matter, my goal is just to complete the coats collection and get the trophy. I decided to give them names after the songs of my favourite band Imagine Dragons c:
For the finishing touch, eye candy c:

Three months later...
The office is completely empty, as if it was abandoned. Dust flies into the air as you walk through the room. The computer is still open, but no new posts have been added since 30th November, 2016. Suddenly, the door behind you slams open...
Hello my dear Howrsers!
It truly seems as if I've abandoned this place, but hey not yet! A little warning that I won't be posting so often anymore, life is getting onto my way(ahem, school). I've also have had a few hiatuses from Howrse, but nothing too long or dramatic, I can't stop playing it just not yet! Now, off to what has happened within these three months...
Divine and wild horse promotions are becoming more and more frequent, and if I have enough diamonds, I usually take part. Luck was on my side when I played Titan's challenge and found the wild horse Brumby on 5th level! I named her Betelgeuse. She is currently about 60% tame. Have a picture of her :3
Browsing around, I saw a horse with a GA coat I really liked. Her name was For Sale, so I contacted her owner and it wasn't long before she entered my GA collection :3 I named her Sirocco and gave her a Helios' Ray. She is not high skilled. She is still young and not fully trained, I hope she will be a good throphy horse in the future.
Also, go check out other horses who have got new coats meanwhile!

Thrills and spills
Hello dear howrsers!
My summer has been a jam packed one, I've even had a two week hiatus from Howrse, because my laptop broke down :( Now they are fixing it and I have a old PC for use that is almost as old as me lol, but works like clockwork! Talking about age, I celebrated my 18th birthday recently! So, bear in mind that when you want to message me, kids, you are talking with an (not-so)adult :P
Tanya has given me one more skiller: Ravensdale. He is her last foal, because Tanya's health is already decreasing and I don't want to risk losing foals. But Kept Secret is in foal for the first time! I bred her with best available horse(a purebred Lusitano) on Howrse and let's see what comes out! c:
Opal has turned out to be a superb trail class horse! He always comes back with golden throphies! I hope that one day, when I have skilled him enough, he will earn me a rosette or two c: #bhfdreams
A skiller that I once bought, Triton, has been standing in my stable doing nothing. I have tried to sell him, but my prices seem to be too high oops. Anyways, he is available, just mail me with an offer!
The maze event is back, but this time it's simpler: you can move more than ever before and instead of one maze there are many small mazes with prizes at the end of each. I am currently aiming for the new Drum horse c: I even found a vintage Apple and used it on Fine Design, who is now a flaxen chestnut Akhal-Teke of the old version c:
It's Hellboy's first week at the Grand Prix! Fingers crossed everyone! I hope he does well and manages to break my personal placing records! Current record is 720-something held by Fusion at trot race.
I have nothing else to write currently, but you can check out some horses with new coats I have managed to put on c: See them yourself ---> Fine Design, Taeyon, Attila(Ow's Helios' ray background).
See ya!

Tree Expedition news
Hello my fellow Howrsers!
I have one day left for school and then...holidays and christmas! Yay! I've got nearly 3 weeks of holidays ahead! What a bless! But let's see what's happening on Howrse...
Another uni foal! Woop woop! Promenade gave birth to filly Narcissa. She's in the other horses stable.
Tree expedition is going slow but it is moving. I was pretty surprised when Tanya and Fusion came back from a long trip with a tree that's prize is...the divine horse Balios. Erm...shouldn't I be getting them from very long trips? May be it's a surprise from Howrse, but I really don't care, cause right now I am just a plenty of ornaments away from getting my second ever divine. So close, yet so far. I am pretty sure I won't get him, but I will not lose hope and try my best without buying all these passes!
Also, I finally completed the first tree and got a Percheron mare. Well, why not start breeding them too! :D I renamed the Haflingers and Shires stable to From foundations, will keep and breed there horses who's foundations I own. I also happened to get another foundation Percheron mare from a friend who didn't need her. So now I have here two Percheron foundations, I gave them long snazzy names: Londonderry Beauty and Super Hot Pepper c:
Fusion finished in 800-something in the trot race Grand Prix this week! He is doing better! Thumbs up and let's hope for 500 soon! Tanya is still in training, but now has fancy GA coat, background and name c:
The game is quite fun and not very time confusing, but requires work if you are determined to get the rewards and/or divines. This is a Tie.
That's it for this time! See ya!

In today's Yay or Nay...
The Tree Expedition
Pros:- Possible to get prizes.
- You can choose wheter you want bigger or smaller prizes(longer or shorter expeditions).
- You can find ornaments in the Advent Calendar(see my earlier posts for a Yay or Nay!).
- Not very time consuming.
- Rarer ornaments are hard to find.
- Yet again, pass buyers have advantages.
- Ornaments are found at random, you may not always get the ornaments you need.
- You can't take care of your horses while they are on the find a tree trip.

1000 days on Howrse!
Today I reached the thousand. It came faster than I expected. Unbelievable, I've been playing Howrse for so long! And today, in honor of this day, I dedicate my blog post to history! I will tell you all about how did I find this game and how and when did it all start. Sit back and enjoy c;
On my profile, the registration day is 2011-03-15, which means I've been playing for a little more than four years. I would make it 5, because I had one account before it...
I remember when I started horse riding, I wanted to play all kinds of virtual horse games online too. So I spent days searching for them, making accounts and playing. My first serious play was on A Virtual Horse. I still have an account there, I last visited it a year ago :P It just is a tad too time consuming game in my opinion. At that time, it was 2010(if I remember right), I also found Howrse. I wanted to give it a go and made an account, as I had done with all of the appealing horse games out there.
When I registered, the game looked like this:

I don't remember almost anything from this time, I did have a palomino foal, cause, well, I still adore yellow horses :D I played it like a few days and then quit. I just got tired, like with many other games at that time.
A year later I somehow came back to that game, I just wanted to play again. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember the information of my first account and I created a new one. I have always struggled with usernames for my accounts and this time was no different. I did remember that a girl had a username HorseFreak on AVH and I decided to give it a go. It was taken, but it didn't take me long to come up with BigHorseFreak. And my account was born!
The site had gone through some major changes and horses had new looks too, remember these?

My first horse was a palomino overo Paint mare, who I named Reptos. When she reached 25 years, her health started decreasing, but I didn't know why did it happen at that time and I tought she was sick :P So I just sent her to Safe Haven to "end her pains". I regret it now and would still like to own my first horse. But I still always stroke her in the Safe Haven when she shows up, a good thing Howrse made this possible :)
My second horse was a Paint stallion named Lucky Strike, who I was forced to sell, because when you start out, it is easy to get low on budget. Suprisingly, he is still alive, name Lightning Dreams and owned by hockeyborch00. It's a great thing you haven't sent him to SH!
Throughout these years I have bred Irish Hunters, Shagya Arabians, Nokotas, and PSHs. I've also made stupid decisions as a beginner: I remember selling some RCs with 2000 equus! Holy moly! If I would have known better, I would right now probably still have them, as I usually give Philosopher's Stone to all my RCs.
And so has time passed with several pauses. I started this blog out quite early too, if I read old posts, I was breeding Irish Hunters back then, and I remember they were the first breed I bred seriously.
Here I want to thank people who have helped me even a tiny little bit in all those years. I know I have rarely asked for help, but still, are replies are appreciated. There have been people who have mailed me just congratulating how far I've made in this game. Big thanks to you too!
And now a one last funny story:
I clearly remember getting Jade, my first and only Divine. It was a stormy winter evening and the promotion for Jade in Horns of Plenty was on, and as always, I wanted to give it a go! I bought one, opened it and there was...Jade! And boom! The electricity shut down at the very next moment. What a perfect timing! I was just getting excited! It was quite a hard snowstorm outside and the electricity was down for two hours. When I returned next day, Jade was already in my stable. I remember being very frustrated all that evening because I couldn't go and see her!
Thanks for reading! I hope I'll last for another 1000 days and more!
Sincerely yours,
BHF

What's been going on
Okey, blame the school again and lack of ideas! And you know why. Luckily, I've had time to actively play on Howrse and here is a little summary what I've been doing lately.
First, the spring rainbow cards event is here and I am only 2 diamond cards away to get the divine Charming Red! I so hope I will be lucky this time, cause Jade feels so lonely...
Second, I today castrated all stallions in the other horses stable. My aim is to breed winners not breeders there and castrating gives them a few more skills. I think that is a smart idea, because no one really wants to cover purebred mares with crossbred ones, at least that's what I think. So from now on, my crossbred stallions will all face castration *snips the scissors*
Third, I now put foals I don't want up for direct sales, because I have discovered that this way they'll sell faster. If within a week no one wants the little one, I will put him/her up for auction. All prices are negotiable, feel free to make an offer or mail me for reservations!
Thanks for reading and see you again in 2 weeks if school doesn't stop strangulating me!
